New Respect For DJ Khaled
I say that cause as much as I respect what he has done until now, I never thought he was really pushing the envelope as a DJ/Producer, good things take time though right. No one starts at the top, everyone is underground before their overground. When I saw the track list for his latest offering I thought, oh yeah, get NaS on deck to expand your audience, he has been featuring for everyone, Ross, Jada, Dre, just to name a few, but he exceeded my expectations with this song. Not only has he solidified his status as one of the most credible DJ's in terms of who hes able to get involved with his music, but hes got them doing something different, not a cliche 16 bar verse in the case of NaS, see what I mean here. 40 bars NaS spits! Khaled got him doing what he does best, spitting l-y-r-i-c-s, & anyone who enjoys listening to NaS will really appreciate this record if they give it a chance.
